for once nice to hear some acceptance of the way we have been playing but for Deacon to say "we're only about five per cent off playing as we want to play" I'm not too sure about that
I guess you could also say that Hood has come out and given him the vote of confidence in saying what he has, but personally I think he's gone over the top calling him special, next he'll be singing to him in the directors box

Suppose that puts to bed the 'Macca has lost the dressing room' line that was spouted by a few on here.
The players and the coaching staff need to back up their comments with improved performances now though. Hopefully the France trip will give the players the little bit of a boost they need right now. Far enough away from the empty head boo boys who at the moment are only heaping more pressure on the side.

And blah blah blah blah blah
I'm sick to the back teeth of the excuses. The Bulls at the moment are like that kid who never does his homework and comes up with more and more elaborate reasons why. In the end you just don't care what they're going to say because you know that there's no change coming.
If you really want to appologise guys hows about you do it on the pitch? Hows about you pull your collective heads out of your a$$es and actually start playing like a team instead of 13 guys who've only met each other that morning?
Or here's a better one, defer 50% of your wages until you actually start winning? As you don't seem to respond to a kick in the backside that 44-10 was maybe you'll respond to a kick in the wallet?

They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I don't think it has. It's merely a press release, and let's be honest - they wouldn't say in the press that he'd lost the dressing room. I showed the release around the office this morning, and all but one here agreed that the press release signalled poor management from the coaching staff.

Those 'boo boys' seemed to be 25% of the crowd, which is a hell of a lot. They're also entitled to air their beliefs. Whilst I didn't boo, performances in recent weeks from a side that on paper are very good, definitely warranted it.

In Deacon's case 5% of nothing is nothing. He is no doubt thinking only MacN would carry on picking him.
Genuinely though, we do need some decent GB coaches to succeed.

Well I'm sick of hearing the same old empty blurb "we know what we did wrong" "we're only 5% from where we want to be" it's all rubbish because none of it is ever backed up on the pitch.
They ought to stfu and actually get on with trying to improve their performances instead of giving soundbites out to the media.

There was nothing like 25% of the crowed booing where I was, more like 5% if that.
