Interesting! I’d be sad to see McNally go but unfortunately his first season with us was disrupted by injury and I don’t think we saw his best. He did score a few great long range trys and contributed to us getting promoted though so for that I’d be grateful and wish him well for the future.
As for being pleasantly surprised by his replacement. I’d be suited if it was Moss but not necessarily surprised as he was the first name that came to mind.
Like others, I’m struggling to think of anyone else available. Maybe they are not a free agent. Maybe a loan? Or someone that wasn’t guaranteed a first team spot that wants to leave in order to play every week?

I'd hope that we'd be able to bring somebody in at short notice but if worse comes to worse and we can't, I don't think it devastates us like a Crossley/Webster would.
No mate, neither do I. He was our best player a few times last season and was the surprise package, 'bolter' if you like from the academy last year, playing in far more games that he might have expected and maybe a few more than were optimum for his development. He's not perfect. Well, no sh.. Sherlock, who have thought that, a young player who's not perfect. I hope he doesn't come on here or he might be considering giving the game up. Hope no-one tells him that 'bolters' tend to have a 'catch-up' season after the big breakthrough year or his confidence will be totally shot....

Mate I’m not giving him a passing and I agree he was good last season but the last thing I want is to throw him in like we did with Kirk he was thrown in too early and it stunted his development a bit some players can handle the immediate some can’t I personally have high hopes for Storton this year maybe Wilson... I just feel pickers still needs to learn of a more senior fb I’d love to see him get some solid game time next season
