Kid has got one and to be honest it ain't THAT bad quality, sizing is mental but that's italian sports gear for you. Cycling jerseys are XXL for a 40inch chest.

I think it was Bulliac that mentioned buying one each year so it only has to have a lifespan of 12 months and looking back through the home shirt drawer Asics produced some utter tat, ISC produced some cheap end shirts with all printed logos so my take is it's more of the same. It's not a symptom of the new regime or anything else.

Come Jan I will buy mine and add to the 20 odd in the drawer I've bought since I started the stupid tradition and I won't even think about the money they have cost (or I will burst into tears!)

I think the quality is no worse than the ISC shirts last year. Both alot thinner than previous years shirts.

If the extent of our pre-season moaning only goes as far as the quality of the playing shirt, then I think that's proof that Chalmers is going a fantastic job for us.

You're not wrong.

But I expect some moans about the lack of bulbs in the floodlights once pre season gets going. It's going to be a bit dark since no replacements have been added since last year and it was a bit dark to see then.

Ah but that will translate into

--> Saving money on electric
--> can't afford replacement bulbs
--> Players not been paid on time (I know as my cousins uncle works there/my dogs peed on the lampost outside and he hear ... /My kids just been taken on and hasn't even been given a pad/pen to make notes with)
--> 40 years of darkness, Earthquakes, volcanoes!
--> The dead rising from the grave
--> Cats and dogs living together
--> Lectures on cloth, metal shearing implements and resizing of such cloth
--> Fans clamouring for a statement from Chalmers about something that's not happening....

I agree completely. And as I've said, different people will have different opinions as to whether it's the right way or the wrong way to go about things. I tend to fall somewhere in the middle in that it's not great for me personally, but I also kind of think it's maybe what the club needs after years of spending money that didn't exist.

Sam you just put yourself in line to front the BULB Builder committee, to help finance the new flood light fund :idea: I'm sure you will shine in this new position! :D
