I despair.
(as it happens, I know exactly what two points are. That is what we settle for when we get penalties awarded in attacking positions I believe?)

No. I will watch it on the telly this week if you don't have any objections?

Well you shouldn't. As it (possibly) needs spelling out, Gill J had written a concise explanation about the sort of constant carping, bickering, whingeing, moaning, and jibes which she says puts her and other people off RAB:
Gill J wrote:If its not get rid of this player, its isn't this player useless or sack Macca or other equally depressing reading
So yes, we all completely 'got' that your "What's 2 points, I'm a Bradford fan" was sarcasm. It is you who is missing the point. Gill J told us what sort of stuff in her opinion puts people off. You, and in a direct reply, post precisely more of the same stuff.
To be clear, I'm not saying what you should or shouldn't post. It's a free country, and a reasonably free forum. Just don't pretend to be so naive that you don't understand her objection.

What I was despairing about is how someone could be so touchy over a bit of sarcasm. Some people do get worked up over the slightest things and it a bit sad TBH.
However, nice to see you talking for others again.

TBH I found that particular bit of sarcasm to be following a certain downbeat theme you're stuck in!
You could well have been in a jovial mood when making it but even if that's the case it does get coloured by your other stuff. I guess that's the risk you take when posting, we don't see any body language or hear your voice so you make a judgement on what you read only.

Fair enough, but the part I despaired about was the comment of
"I do not find sarcasm either funny or clever."
If that is the case, I wonder why someone would want to spend time on an internet message board as they would no doubt get rather upset on a frequent basis?

Hardly a "bit" though - and thats the point. Its been an unremitting stream from you, and a torrent from Asim. Hasn't it?
Used on industrial scale like this, as Gill points out its neither funny nor clever - it just makes the user of it look "a bit sad", if anything IMO.
Some others may be lost causes, but you've shown in the past you are more than capable of making very effective and humorous posts without having to resort to cheap sarcasm; lets see the old ME back, eh? He seemed a much nicer guy!

I was speaking for myself, as the whole post makes clear, except the bit where I said we all got your sarcasm. Is that the bit you object to? Really? You think that there are people who did not get your sarcasm? Truthfully?
What is a pity is that you seem disinclined to take on board any part of what Gill J said.
