Only rarely do new signings get a guarantee of first team spots - and those that do don't need one! - but I would personally be sure Ethan would have got a much more solid assurance than "you'll play in the stiffs and have to play your way into contention for a first team spot".

Again the reserves game looks like we have two very good young stein and lightning wingers waiting for a chance. Jy was a full back when he first came over. He could play there. Although I feel he is now an out and out winger from his cas form. Just hope our next fullback is adequate
