How many pages of rubbish posted by bulls fans. Give credit where its due!
I think you have to realise Bulls are not what they used to be and Giants are not what they used to be.

You scored 1 try to our 3 and you had every chance but our defence was awesome. Every time you got a penalty you went for goal, now that must be showing us some respect as many moons ago you would have took another set of six.

Your forwards dominated us last night but we had Eorl & Griffin out and it showed but you just did not have any creativity on the pitch. Christ knows what penalty count was last night but you had ample chances to get over the line but you looked clueless.

Like I said we are not the Giants of Old we went to Catalans and won we nearly beat St Helens 6-12 with 5 Min's to go but ended up losing 6-23 which flattered them tbh and we beat a you.

Good luck for the rest of the season. See you in the play offs!

PS: all you fans that deserted Giants to follow the Bulls , the ship is sinking come and join the revolution at the Galpharm!

After waking up with a hangover I have to give credit as the Giants had their chances and took them. I'm not sure the Giants will keep this up but that's for another thread.

Pains me to say it

Solo wud of forced himself over the line from close last nite! hes renowned for it!

Our backline is crap. . . as we all know! We need halley over sheriffe defo!

As soon as deacs pulls his hamstring again this season, we will always play like last night! I can believe macca didnt sign a half back!

Jefferies didnt play that bad he was under pressure!

Beaver made some awesome hits! we have the best forwards in the league imo.

We are sure to win games! but probably not the close ones like last night!

Even if we sack macca we dont have a backline! Semi is solid n nero good in defense! Effort was there from the team! but after we had pressure in the second half n didnt score i knew we wud be knackered and they were! fooked!

We should be tapping going for the try especially when we had momentum in the first half! One it gives us confidence ball in hand. 2 it makes them defend there line n knacks em out! A disjointed game with a team of poor confidence like ours is suicide! Macca is a tactical nightmare! Deacs should just boss it on the field!

Is that the same Cullen who underachieved woefully with a very talented Warrington team?

He comes across as a nice guy, but he has done no more than McNamara in the game and has had a lot more time to have done something.

just to add a little perspective to things. Weve played Two games.

a draw against a side that have since come very close to beating the reigning champions and beaten saints.( edit typed leeds thinking saints  )

a narrow loss to a side that have beaten catalans away convincingly and very nearly beating saints.

the fact that these sides are called hull kr and hudds and are 'lower table' sides is totally immaterial. Fact is they have decent sides this year. We've suffered from a disrupted pre-season and lost key players in both games and yet all people can see is that we havent won

There are still some obvious problems within the team but otoh some of the problems from the hull kr have been addressed. there was some genuine improvement between the two games and with a bit more luck and consistency from the ref we would have won last night.

ps anyone else think jeffries looked a lot more comfortable at scrum half once deacon went off?. If as it seems, the bird deal has fallen through, then we should be using the cap space to sign a genuine stand off asap.

This season we have. What about the last couple, do they not count?

No they haven't.

A loss to a side that haven't beaten Bradford in the league at Odsal since England were football world champions.

....erm, no it isn't. At all.

Disrupted pre season, injuries, ref, bad luck? Same old excuses then? FFS stop clutching at straws. Look, for example, at Wakefields' injury list. What a load of utter nonsense.

No wonder you rate McNamara so highly, you even rehearse his interviews in order to regurgitate them on here.

Jeez what planet are you on!! It was a decent post until this part. Ganson helped you all he could but we beat you with him on your side.

i thoguht it was a poor game, too many penalties ( most to bradford!) too many errors but at the end of the day the old good bradford bulls would have steamrollered us in that first 20 mins when we hardly touched the ball, the fact that deacon chose to kick for goal rather than than to tap and go shows how clueless bradford are, at no point did it ever look like bulls were going to score which has been the case at odsal for many year, last night, apart from a beating in the forwards we controlled everything, our halfbacks were a class above your 2,i didnt even know jefferies was on the pitch! our running from dummy half was agressive and caused problems, our backs were stronger, faster and more clever than yours, only nero menzies and morrison caused us any problems at all.

i can see a season of struggle for the once feared bulls im afraid, the tide is turning, the future is claret and gold.

Where to start?

Another poor performance that was almost a carbon copy of the HKR game. However in some ways it was worse. Positives? Well there was plenty of effort from most players and we were well disciplined but that's it.

Again we showed an almost total lack of creativity. 1 clean break in the first half only. In the second the lack of direction from halfback was obvious. We managed only two occasions where we tried something a bit different to aimless passing along the line. Some may say we weren't helped with Deacon going off but to be honest we were awful in attack with him on the field.

In defence I thought there was cause for concern. Hudders dominated the collision and played the ball far quicker. This had us back peddalling and we really struggled to stop their offloads. This has been a weakness for us for years and we show no signs of sorting it. God knows what will happen when we play the likes of Leeds and Saints.

When we took the ball up Hudders almost always put our man on his back so our ptb was really slow. Our passing often seemed to go to nobody or was mistimed with Jeffries the worst culprit.

Our most creative player is Glen Morrison! A workhorse backrower. SNuff him out and we have nothing.

It's going to be a long hard season.
