He's effectively given a red card without seeing the incident "despite claiming to" and has gone on nothing more than an allegeded bite mark on an arm.

100% agree with this and was going to post something similar myself. The ref actually shouts "MOVE" after the player claiming the bite pulls away which strongly suggests that he didn't in fact see "the bite" at all.
Taufua makes no head movement towards the arm which suggests that the tackler must have had his arm wrapped around the head... penalty to us?
This will go against us again just as the GFS vs Bussey incident... no evidence of proof via the footage so they will go with the complainant as he seems a nice honest guy.
