Peter Goddard wrote:A great youtube half hour interview with SMTM and Jack Walker explaining why he signed for us and his future. Sounds like this signing has stimulated interest from other players joining Bulls. Apparently another 2 or 3 from Leeds in the offing. Suddenly after seeing this interview our future seems a bit rosier and has made me more upbeat about the coming season.

I'll be waiting to see who else signs, whether they balloon in size, whether existing players turn up fit and whether they have the right attitude before I get over excited. SMTM certainly has the gift of the gab but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

While we've got rid of one player from last year who was rumoured to be a bad influence on younger players another remains that we've been trying to engineer out of the club apparently. No takers yet as his reputation is well known. At least efforts are being made.

The thought of watching rugby on the postage stamp at Odsal with the players trudging across muddy wooden pallets makes me depressed so it's going to take a heck of a turnaround.

After reading what you said I’m going to put down a guess of Donaldson

I would like to see DP stay. Until I have some proof about his attitude I don't understand why some people want him gone. He was our most potent attacker. Everything seemed to come from a Patten assist last season. Why are we giving the bloke a hard time?

Can't comment on his attitude but the frustrating thing with Patton was, it was almost like he thought he was too good for the league, yes he had a hand in most of our tries last season, but he'd create a good try and then back it up with 5 half arsed kicks which put us under pressure.
