Yeah, the rules seem to change week to week as we get through the season. Almost a lottery at this point.

I didn't realise their off field woes were still continuing. HMRC have had a lot of practice and experience now with Rugby (both union and league) clubs over the last 10 years, accelerated by covid lockdown and are playing hardball it looks like.

If HMRC have submitted a winding up petition then they will play hardball. Unless Fax can come up with the money the current regime is all done. We've been there ourselves. When this keeps happening it's better to call it quits and take the points deduction and start again rather than chuck money and goodwill into a black hole.
