Todays game has potential banana skin written all over it. Batley ran Fev very close last weekend and will be fresher than we are with the extra days rest. Hopefully home advantage should see us through. It would be brilliant to back up Monday's win with another good showing at home against the Bulldogs.

If we get a win today there will be a fantastic following at Fax next Saturday. Monday was great but id imagine there will be even more with it being a Saturday.

3 home wins for Bradford, Widnes and Halifax would start to see the top 6 taking shape, after 1/3 of the season gone I think.
Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.

Jack Walker named the 18th man today. Expect him to be back next week for Halifax in the Cup.

2 steps forward, 3 steps back. Credit to the Bulldogs, they took their opportunities and made us pay. A proper gut punch and back to the drawing board after a good performance against Halifax.

Just the result & performance I would have expected after a decent game against Fax. We consistently underperform and disappoint. Still think we need new coaching staff..

For No other reason than running with Patton & Lilley at 6 and 7. The most poison half back partnership since Shaun Edwards & Graham Bradley.

Everything about that game was awful. Dour, scrappy, spoiling tactics. Referee was pitiful. Got completely old manned by Batley. Thought we looked lathargic. Think we lost the game when Lilleys 4,0/20 went out on full. We were getting on top of Batley at that point and it was a needless risk play.

We've got to move Holmes to halfback. Was disappointed we didn't put him there today.
