That is one of the worst Bradford Bulls performances of the summer era. An all time low for the club. Congratulations go to Halifax, they never gave in and showed us exactly what tenacity, grit and determination can do when you lose a player so early into the game.
Just when you think we can't stoop any lower than the performance last week against Barrow we go and out do ourselves again. An unforgivable performance from a gutless team. Crossley running the ball in on the last tackle to try and win the game, clueless. Another brain explosion from our captain. He should be sat in the stands next week.
We all know that Kear is gone now. If not immediately, he's definitely gone at the end of the year. We also need an overhaul in the backroom staff. The fitness and S & C coaches have a lot to answer for as well. We must be one of the unfittest teams in the league. Can anyone name another team in this league that has props as out of shape as ours?
The atmosphere at the end was toxic. A horrible day for the club.

Well played to them.
That decision was madness and was not going to make any impact on what Fax needed to do. You can only assume it was so Bradford could get a rest which in itself is also madness.

That game tonight was almost surreal. A team playing against 12 men for practically the whole game, on their own patch, with a decent crowd behind them, and they give that display. Happening time after time now. Why don't our halves show at least a bit of skill, guile, ingenuity, instead of the inevitable kick into the air agter 5 drives ? If the problem isn't the players then there's only one solution which needs addressing urgently, before crowds drop off the scale.
Utter garbage. We’ve seen the bulls travel to places like Hemel and west wales but tonight is the lowest I’ve ever seen the club and it makes me question going back.
20-17. I would have thought ok at that but looking at that so called ‘performance’ disgusting. One up boring rugby and a kick to gill. Or run to contact on the last. Lilley caught doing it on e and Crossley doing it from 20 out with a minute on the clock with us trying to win the game. Unforgivable and the whole club should be ashamed.
Well done Halifax on getting the win but they were not even that great. No disrespect meant But they didn’t have to be and even with 12 men they had us comfortably beat. Soft soft tries conceded in defence and a shambles with ball in hand.
The club should be ashamed tonight. Up there with the worst performances ever churned out by a Bradford side for me. Worst thing is I don’t see any signs of putting it right other than hot air. Sheffield was bad, Barrow worse, tonight laughable
It was like watching a team from the winter era. We looked a stone a man heavier but totally sluggish in every facet of the game. The tactics were those Peter Fox would have deployed in December. It was just weird. Line speed collapsed in the last 30 minutes because we're SO unfit. 12 man Fax making 60 metres on every set. Not a single grubber kick into the in goal area. Our left edge has stopped challenging for Patton's kicks. Kibula offloaded to Doyle and there was not a single player available. They'd stepped back to the line because it wasn't expected.
It was definitely my worst night at Odsal. I've seen some poor sides but never constrained to such an extent that they don't actually play. And unfit. The speed and enthusiasm of Fax humiliated us.

I watched Dec Patton for a spell off the ball, hands on his hips blowing out of his backside. He’s not on his own by any means but if your halfback is unfit, that to me is a major indicator that conditioning and professionalism is way below where it needs to be.

Missed the incident as I seemed to pick a seat where people were up and down the steps all match (which got less annoying as the match wore on once I realised I was unlikely to miss anything exciting).

I was talking to a mate who's a Fax fan at 60 mins and he said you've won this. My reply was simple.
"Crossley's still on the park and will likely close out the game, that mean the defensive line will be static and a good number of the other players will be thankful for that. Combined with our appalling discipline you'll get a soft try before the games out whereas we are so unfit we couldn't score in a brothel - your win"
The only positive for me was Lilley shouting and screaming at them with about 5 mins to go. The only player showing any real desire, yes he drilled the ball into touch but I'd say that was to give out fat B&*£ards a breather more than anything else.
Kear's such a decent bloke it hurt to hear folks chanting We want Kear out and I'd never want to see such a long and dedicated career end like this but FFS make him Head of Rugby and I'll coach the lard 4rses. I can't do worse.
And another worry, Elliot Kear has been putting shift after shift in for me and he left the ground before me last night and his face was like thunder, How long before our fit player ask to leave rather than carry on carrying the gut buckets?
