Think there might be family issues and travelling is taking its toll. IIRC he lives near leigh. Usual suspects been telling anyone who'll listen that's hes gone for last few days so its probably correct.

I’m sure I heard Mick say on his 80 mins programme a rumour of another signing, but I wasn’t listening 100%. Just wonder if we are trying to get a replacement before we announce he’s gone?

Get Moss back. Then re-announce the shirt numbers with players that will actually be here to play in them.

if he goes to Leigh then surely we will get a fee for him, we wouldn’t be daft enough to let him go for free especially with all the sick pay we gave him last year

By the sound of it, and from reading Gregg's wife's just giving page, it sounds like a move closer to home for him is the right move. Best of luck to him (just not when he's playing against us!).

Looks like Pickersgill will be first choice. I can see Hitchcox maybe playing there too.

If Pickersgill becomes first choice I think our position will certainly be negatively effected

Well given that we never really saw the best of McNally I don't think we'll see that.

A fully fit McNally would've been first choice but he was never fully fit - and he might not ever be as good as he was a few years back. Pickersgill will improve as he's only young. Hitchcox has played fullback a lot in the past and could be a good choice there too.

We have options - it's not the end of the world.

Not sure if Evans has had a game or two at full back

Problem is tho our wings now look considerably weaker when you move Hitchcox there
