I've no doubt a few will have bought them regardless. I'm waiting until the end of September as I'm pretty skint at the moment. By then at least I'll also know what league we're in. It's an increase in price but then prices have gone up across the board. Inflation affects everything.

Not if we don't finish top. The playoff final won't have been played by the end of September. The Semi Final would be on the last day in Sep.

Back on the topic (again). As has been rightly said, you would think if the club do end up in the playoffs, surely the only right thing to do is to extend that early bird deadline until after the playoffs conclude? Whilst some fans will be happy to pay it regardless, I'm sure plenty would be holding off until they know what's happening, and the club will only end up losing out on a lot of potential season tickets by forcing people to make a decision before the playoffs finish.

They might decide to gamble and hope we go up after the deadline so that loads of people pay extra...

I hope we get the promotion but I'll still come to games if we don't. I'm too ingrained in it to stop now, and a match is still a match so I'll be getting a ticket, though I was forced to laugh at the news that, to reserve my seat, I had to renew by late September - if someone buys mine, I'll just get the one next to it....

I must admit the same thought has occurred to me over recent years. Before I stopped going, I used to go in the stand too (physical issues mean I struggle to stand for a full match) and it's been quite a few years since there was a lack of space in the stand to make it an issue if someone else gets your seat! Apart from those who have the little name plaques on their seats, I can't see many people being that bothered if they have to sit in a different one next year.

That would be a really sh*tty thing for the club to do.

Lol, the little name tags lasted about a season before they fell off, hell most of them don't even have the numbers on now!

I won't be buying mine any time soon. If they sell it then I will bare my arrse on the town hall steps, as I need radar to detect the nearest people in my section in the middle.

I'm not gonna lie, I've had something of a change of heart today (hey, I've even unblocked you). Personal circumstances away from this forum have made me re-evaluate a couple of things. Life's too short to be an a*se to people. If anything I've said to any other members on this forum has upset them, they have my apologies. I always try to say what I think, at the end of the day I'm honest. But maybe I'm too honest and sometimes tact or reservation is required. So I'll try to be more reserved and respectful. Even Mr. Gledhill has my apologies for my comment last night, it was too far and as Bullseye said, unfair. In fact for any previous comments, I regret any that may have caused upset.



I'm still going to be honest. If I think a player is crap or I think someone is talking out of their backside, I'll say so. But I'll try to do so with a little more tact.

I think a good guide is to only post what you'd be happy saying to someone's face. Keeps things in check.

There's nothing wrong with getting carried away with yourself mid-rant. In fact that's what the bulls Facebook groups appear to be exclusively for. Have a cathartic rage on the banter pages and when you come back here everyone thinks you're normal again. Ish.

We lost a match, though, if memory serves, we've done this before, with various degrees of regularity. so in truth, "nothing to write home about".



The banter pages tend to go into meltdown though and it you're not quite distraught and in a state of total distress too, then, in their eyes, you clearly don't know the seriousness of the situation and obviously aren't a 'real fan'.

I saw the Bulls put out yesterday that they've reached the 100 mark on season ticket sales. I genuinely can't remember what the take up is normally like when they go on sale. Anyone who can? Is that much slower than normal, or about the same? On the face, it sounds incredibly underwhelming, but I'm not sure if it's always like that as people don't just have that money lying around.

They've certainly started earlier than normal and I'd guess that would catch quite a few out, though I wouldn't doubt the prices will have an effect.

No mention of a 4 month Direct Debit option to take you up to Xmas - usually well received.

Agreed. If we are guaranteed to be going up at the end of the season along with a few more players of the calibre of Webster joining us for 2019, I can see there being a solid uptake in ticket sales.
