I thought it was another one of those performances that has you applauding one minute and tearing your hair out the next. We’re capable of some superb rugby at times. The tries to Keyes, Chisholm and Pownall were fantastic. Our goal line defence scrambled really well when it had to as well. On the minus side we again made far too many sloppy errors and we would have been made to pay by a better side. It looked like Kear was experimenting with a few things. Oakes moving into the backrow seemed to go ok, Lilley at hooker I was less sure about.

Some familiar issues. Chisholm does over elaborate at times and it leads to errors. Hallas is too slow at dummy half. Minchella is our best backrower by a mile. Ryan is incredible under those cross kicks.

It was a really warm welcome from the locals. It took no time to get served at the bar – Bulls management take note!

Defence has tightened up well. They could do worse than make it a mission to complete their first 10 sets a la Bennett, then mistake free will become a habit.I thought having the trio of Chisolm,Keyes and Lilley on the field at the same time was potentially MAGIC in this league which left me awaiting the next game with extra enthusiasm.Minchella is very talented and runs some epic lines which has resulted in him scoring all those tries. All in all I think there is a lot to be positive about after that performance, scoring some excellent tries.Hope we can keep hold of Ryan.

The more he talked of his honour, the faster we counted our spoons.

It was nice to see us get an early try but we quickly made a lot of errors back to back inviting a lot of pressure on ourselves. I was very pleased to see us shut the crusaders out despite given them all that field position and that probably killed off the game early on when we finally got back up their end and scored our second.

Job done and done well at the end of the day. York will have been pretty confident of staying at the top of the table atleast this week with their walk over game vs raiders but we have tagged them back. As long as we keep winning I think we will see out top place especially when we get to tag our points on against the raiders, subject to them fulfilling the fixture of course

Funny you mention the Pownall one. Proper Sport tweeted out a clip during the game of that try saying how great the pass was. Unfortunately the clip itself was so blurry because the cameraman zoomed in without focusing, that you couldn't actually see hardly any of what happened.
I don't know if it was the same on the live stream, but you'd think they'd have watched the clip before tweeting it!

Hope he's ok. We're already missing Laithwaite, to lose Mini would be a big blow.

Luckily I saw the Pownell try 1st hand and it was a great offload from Ryan.

He’s struggling a bit, it’s his shoulder. Off to see the physio tonight.

I fear we need to stop talking about Ethan to prevent the Super League vultures from circling.

I'm sure his agent knows exactly how good he is.

Aye, supposedly that's how we lost Sam Burgess. Russell Crowe wasn't aware of Super League but happened to be randomly surfing the web, found some fans on RLFans talking about this RL wunderkind and immediately started schmoozing his mama in order to make sure he got his man.
