There are many arguments and counter arguments on here that are valid and based on people caring for the club and expressing it in different ways. Some people choose not to go, others say this is disloyal. Others boo the players and coach and this is seen as disloyal. then there are the "loyal" supporters who will not hear any criticism at all!
All people who consider themselves supporters of the club are entitled to an opinion and entitled to spend their hard earned cash how they wish.
In these times of financial hardship there are pressures on most people. I for one, over the last 20 years have spent literally thousands of pounds on being a Northern/ Bulls fan.
in 2007, I bought 2 adult home shirts, 2 child home kits, an adult away shirt and 2 kids kits. I also attended every home match with my wife and 2 sons spending an average of £50 every match day. Just in that season, I spent in excess of £900. this year, I have spent £0!
part way through last season it was clear that the club was mismanaging many aspects of its business. The clincher for me was doing away with the full time academy set up.
I will not willingly and knowingly give my money that I earn, to an organisation that wastes it routinely. I am not being disloyal, as the club no longer stands for the things it did. The way that the hardcore fans are exploited, and the way that platitudes and excuses are trotted out to the fans through the media, the board and managemnet being totally inaccessible to the fans, even the closure of the OMB are reasons why the club has been on a slippery slope for the last 5 years. the return to Odsal was mismanagement, as is holding out for the OSV to happen. Caisley brought some great years to the club, but what is his legacy? why are local business men reluctant to be even slightly invoved in the club, when other RL clubs benefit from bradford businesses?
It is not a case of liking or disliking Steve McNamara. He is a gentleman who always had time for people as a player and who cares for the club. the simple fact is, as a sports club, results on the pitch are what makes the tills ring and the buck stops with him! Hood's inability to do anything shows that he is culpable too!
Again, I reitterate, I will not pay to watch Bradford Bulls at Bradford until the board do something about replacing the current coaching staff. If enough people do this they will be forced to act. I only hope that this is befoire its too late and impacts upon the available playing budget for next year!
Never liked Kevin Costner, or any other Robbing Hood!!!!

Heard it all now. We need to kill the club in order to save it.
When you're quoting the closure of the OMB when *EVERY* Super League club has got shut of theirs if they ever had one as evidence of mismanagement, does that not make you stop and check and wonder whether your analysis is quite on the money?

Unfortunately the club may need to give some thought to the route that that the coaches have to take to get to the pitch. Its nothing like the old walk of death back to the changing rooms but still has the potential for a nasty incident.
i agree with u in the way some fans waited for him to pass them before they started abusing him,but if they do it to his face thats ok as far as im concerned!everyone pays hard earned cash to watch the bulls,so why cant they voice there opinions at the coach?providing they dont do it behind his back!

True as far as it goes. But you have to question the wisdom of deliberately seeking to distract and Hetherington-off the coach (and by association the players) in the middle of a match?
