Still can't seeya winning it though

FLYINGPROP :Oh dear Oh dear get the plates out the Humble pie will be ready in a couple of weeks, IMO we are doing ok for a weak squad, beat 2 of those predicted to finish in top 4 and ran one very close.
If i was to marry, i dont know if i ought to, if i would, if i should , i'd marry a Prop's daughter, she'd go down, i'd go down, we'd all go down together, we'd be alright in the middle of the night going down together!!

There looked to be no passion or desire to win the game from the majority of players in the last 20 minutes tonight, Morrison, Menzies, Tadulala Nero and Kopczack were about the only players who played with any determination.
Like a lot of people are saying, we've got a very capable pack, but no idea whatsoever how to score. We aren't conceding a lot of points, mostly due to our discipline and ability to get the fundamentals right, but we've also scored less points than everyone barring quins. We're desperately lacking any initiative or mobility in the halves, when the ball gets to Jefferies any flow just seems to stop.
McNamara has some very big problems to sort out very quickly if we're going to win games this season. If we don't see a turnaround in the next couple of weeks It's going to be another pointless season.

Quite true. I have never been a fan of Ben Jeffries. He just doesn't have that skill or little bit of extra that's needed. To be honest, I would have rather kept Iestyn Harris on a reduced contract. At least Harris knew what to do with the ball. Like you say, when Ben Jeffries recieves the ball, everything just dies. I know some people view him as a scrum half, but to me it doesn't matter where he plays because he just doesn't have that little bit extra that we are looking for. I wouldn't even consider him adequate back up.
I thought we looked more dangerous when he went off and Steve Menzies played there agaisnt Hull Kingston Rovers and I hope to god that Greg Bird wins his court cases without any charge because I can't see much going our way if we have to endure another season of Ben Jeffries..
I thought Newton was very poor tonight, he has seriously hit the wall, no ideas, lazy, slow passer of the ball, Platt, no need to explain the sooner they tear up his contract and pay him out the better, give jeffries credit for effort, he tried to create but at the end of the day, you buy wakey, you get wakey, not a champion stand off for me, Glenn Morrison needs to chill he is 150mph all the time, makes rash desicions, tonight 2 men inside him to win the game and he kicks the ball into to touch - MENTAL - Impresses wid cooky, excellent try saver, gives 100% every game, no nonsense player. Finally we have to remember Huddersfield are no poor team, the salary cap is having an effect, it's becoming a more levelled competition, predicting wins is difficult, They played well and took a lot of stick from our forwards, soaked it up and run in a couple of good tries - Halfbacks played well and i was impressed with Scott Moore, saints have more youth talent coming through there!
My own personal thoughts are you have nothing at half back, we soaked 20 mins of pressure up for the 1st 20 mins of each half, you lacked go forward when Paul went off, even on the back of a 12-5 penalty count you didnt really trouble us till the last 10 mins when Robbo intercepted Morrisons inside ball and him kicking into touch later on
Didnt see Newton tackle once below the shoulders, though Burgess went well and the blonde prop who came on went well, neither of the wingers shirked work, all in all a cracking game though i think we deserved it.

For months I've disagreed with redeverready and mystic eddie, said we need to give the guy a chance. I've said we need some continuity with our fixtures, but tonight I lost my tether.
I see no creativity, the team looks devoid of ideas, Deacon being off the field made no difference which is a serious concern, that we don't miss our 7.
The pack were again excellent, except Newton. He's simply too slow, and we lost that game in the ruck, Newton doesn't make things happen like a Diskin or Cunningham.
The fact we look clueless near the try-line is one mans fault, and I'm personally sick of it now. l

Thoughts?
I think Morrison realised that we needed someone to try and grab the game by the scruff of the neck and as no one else seemed willing he at least tried. Yes, he made the wrong decision but at least he was willing to try something.
When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
