Really poor 1st half and it was the performance I feared for this fixture. We have given away too many cheap penalties and given Widnes some confidence to play.

Hopefully Nobby and Greenwood can talk some sense into the players. They need to be patient now and get into the arm wrestle with Widnes. We have enough quality to score some points if they stop gifting Widnes position and points.

Good test of this squad now, hopefully the leaders in the squad can pull us through.

Awful performance. Blackmore gifted 3 tries to Widnes but the overall performance and attitude from the players just hasn't been good enough.

Not surprised by the result but bitterly disappointed with how easy we've made it for Widnes.

Awful. Not one player switched on. Old issues rearing thier ugly head. I'll-discipline, players trying to win it on their own ever play. So frustrating as when we went set for set we looked a level above. But we either gave a penalty or knocked-on.

Awfully disappointing performance. Onward & Upward!

Discipline.... Its even been the same when we have been winning. That needs work because regardless of what players we are linked with or signing, we will get found out when it comes to the play-offs and even after tonight I would say even a spot in the 6 is up for debate.

The thing that infuriates me the most though is the fact that a win tonight would have put some breathing space between ourselves and everyone below but in typical Bradford style the slightest bit of pressure and we crumble.

That’s up there as one of the most frustrating games I’ve seen us play for some time.

Discipline was an absolute joke from start to finish. Ball retention was also extremely poor. We allowed Widnes to piggyback themselves up the pitch time and time again through our inability to compete the fundamental basics of the game.

After the battering we gave Keighley last week I always thought this game was going to be another example where we think we can just turn up and win. Widnes are a poor side but they did the basics right and won the game.

Big response needed in Whitehaven at the weekend.

Some errors and penalties maybe but the recent loss of forwards meant we could not handle their bigger pack. The ref's failure to penalise Widnes at the ruck was abvsmal. Pack is an issue.

A contributing factor perhaps, but how many times did we hand the ball to Widnes in our own half with really dumb plays? Credit to Widnes, they took their opportunities but it was really poor stuff.

Interesting dilemma re Blackmore, he was absolutely shocking and whilst you cannot blame an entire result on one player.. his mistakes were massive to the outcome. If he avoids being dropped it can only be due to some credit from previous weeks when he has been very good.

Sadly this came back to haunt us last night. 2 many forwards missing. Boddies needed urgently.
