There are 19 regular season home games so that works out at around £15.73 a game.
.
Huddersfield Towns central funding won't be £75k though
So i'm guessing we're in a 14 team league. That's either an extended championship, or a reduced L1 with teams merging (which is also heavily rumoured)
Regarding people buying tickets. There is obviously going to be a shouting match between those who think everything is rosy, and those who are just commenting on every negative aspect. They will be a lot of "what the hell do people want, get behind your club" and the " why aren't tickets cheap. Why have we signed that player, he's crap"
I get people not buying tickets when they don't know what league or structure we will be in. It's farcical. I think this is more to do with the ineptitude of the RFL rather than the Bulls this time. One thing i don't understand is fan complaining about price (some, who are also the same fans who complain if a crap player re-signs) Yes we're down a league, but we're also running an academy and trying to sign up a decent squad. Some fans seem to want to pay peanuts for an ST, but also have Chisholm, Oakes, Sironen signed up and releasing Mendeika, Thomas etc. We can't have both when we are getting £75k central funding. If you want to see HG players like Butterworth, Oakes, Kirk playing along side Chisholm, then the money has to come from somewhere. We haven't a Koukash. I'm more than happy to pay the prices as a long as we get a decent squad (which has got to an unexpected positive start)
