No sure, they seem I have a decent chairman in place now. If any season there were to have gone busy it would have been this one.

I'd say that P&R, or the imminent prospect of, has generally caused more 'incidents' over the years as the consequences of being relegated and the benefits of being promoted are a big incentive to take the risk. Squeaky bum time causes many a chairman to take the sort of risks he wouldn't normally go near. "Sod the leccy bill, if we lose next week we could be in the bottom four..."

Is that just your opinion or do you base your statement on actual facts, the reason I ask is because earlier this month the club reported a profit of £355,921 to the end of Nov 2013.

It's a message board for goodness sake, since when have facts been important?
What brings a Wakefield fan all the way down here?

One whose club that has suffered like your club has but has been a little more fortunate than yours and is interested enough to see how things are shaping up, and as Iv'e said before hopes you come straight back up but not at our expense, anyway there's nothing wrong with coming down here and seeing how the other half live

As I say you are presently in one of your periods of stability and long may it continue. However like us you support a club that has given you fans a rough nervy time on quite a regular basis over the last decade. There's no gloating in me saying that.

Sounds logical Nothus, but remind me, which club had a specialist business lawyer[presumably covering contracts etc]as chairman and then got the brown sticky end in a legal battle over a welsh halfback, a few summers ago?
