The lad is a liability, time to get rid poor Super League team player at best!

Trouble is we're stuck with him now.
I do think that other fullback candidates need a shot. If that means playing Sykes there or promoting from the academy then so be it. Platt has led a charmed life and seemed to be first choice for as long as he's been at the club. Barring the first half of 2007 he hasn't played well enough to deserve that first choice status.
The fullback jersey should be up for grabs.

Why bar one mistake today he was very solid.
I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.
Michael Platt would be a better player if he took a leaf out of matt cook's book and when cataching the ball, running straight at the defence, not away from them or making a pathetic pass to semi or Rikki (Thought he looked a bit nervy too this afternoon)

I think Platt get's some unfair flak from some sections of the crowd, however whilst not making too many mistakes he didn't contribute a great deal either. It wasn't a case of what he did, more what he didn't do. He didn't look confident out there today when returning the ball. He ran sideways most of the time and threw one wild pass out to Sheriffe.
I wouldn't be too disappointed to see Platt dropped for someone more dependable. Whether Sykes is that player I'm not sure, but I'd be tempted to bring Crookes in to play centre if Platt doesn't show some improvement in the next few games.
