Indeed BB.
I don't know what goes on at 'most' clubs but, in businesses the customers are usually the last to be (meaningfully) consulted and then ignored by the share owners when they are. RL clubs are supposedly 'businesses' so I assume that is what generally applies through the league. We come in handy when the buckets come out, of course.
If I know one thing though, it is this: I won't have the mickey taken out of me again or I'm off. Gone. And I won't be back. I'm unanimous on that.

I've literally never seen you anything other than placid and in good spirits. Can't believe you waited till the owner comes on to show us up.

I'd forgotten why I liked this board so much - thanks for reminding me Pumpy!

Wood is independently wealthy isn't he? Not Koukash wealthy but not just living off his RFL settlement.
I think people are far too quick to write him off, partly reflecting their own agendas, partly reflecting the fact that people hold the RFL responsible for failings of their own clubs (of all the clubs) and as an ex-RFL executive that follows him around.
It's a low bar but compared to most club owners he's got a lot of solid, practical Rugby League experience. I know there's some stuff about him and the Bulls in the past but his ownership should at least be more stable than the past several regimes.

i base my decision on his success rate in RL.
which is currently after about 20 years, negligible.
