Hello Mr Pot, meet Mr Kettle.

It's a big blow for us. I'd prefer that Cook got the starting spot over Worrincy tbh

I too reckon Cook is in front of Worrincy at the moment. I'd also like to see if any of the younger lads are up to first team yet like Elliott Whitehead.

Just read the report on Morrison's injury. Ruptured the ligaments in his wrist in the early minutes of the game and played the full 80. The guy is mental. All I can say is Chuck Norris' real name is Glenn Morrison

Didn't he do something like this before his last long-term lay-off? I'd be surprised if carrying on playing full contact RL didn't in some way worsen the injury.

Sheer stupidity IMO, putting his own ego as a tough guy before the long-term needs of the team. The coaching staff should have identified that he had a problem and brought him off. Who runs the team, the coach or the players? Reminds me of Matt Adamson insisting on playing in the 2003 CC final witha plate in his jaw.

Woh woh woh! Sweet child o mine! Steady on there!

You're making an assumption that he knew he'd done some serious damage. It could well have been that he didn't think it was all that serious, it didn't affect his performance.

Only a moron would fail to understand the difference between an average number of average injuries which any team can expect, and an unusually high number of extremely serious, long-term injuries, to key players, which is what happened to us. Genuine question: are you a moron, or are you just trolling?

 If that's true, I appear to be performing a worthy public service.

True bull wrote:But nether mind you be back being all aggressive and holier than thou attitude.

Hang on. I made a general point, mentioning a simple fact about what was an appalling run of serious injuries. I wasn't talking to you, and don't even know who the fsck you are, though if "true bull" refers to you (as opposed to the content of your posts), then you already know. You've for some reason known only to you directed a sarky pop aimed specifically at me. These are the facts. You will note that despite you coming over as an arsey numbskull, my factual response is neither aggressive, nor (as an atheist) would I claim to be holier than anyone.

No, no, it's obvious. Morro knew he had sustained a serious injury, decided to play on to boost his macho image despite knowing full well this would put him out for months, the physios, coaches, club doctor, chairman etc. also knew he had a serious injury and that if he played on with it, it would put him out for months, but they failed in their duty to take him off, and/or he blatantly refused to come off.

Did I miss anything? These all seem like the obvious assumptions to me.

:D

Maybe I over-reacted given the facts available. You would have thought the club doctor could have at least diagnosed him at half-time though?

If Morrison thought it was nothing, he may not have mentioned it.
