I genuinely have no idea at all. Mick tweeted that we are automatically promoted. But then apparently that is not true.

Can someone please explain? And I have read all of the press but still have not a clue.

It's explained on the link already posted

The relevant section is

Quote:To get to a 14 team Betfred Championship at the end of this current season two teams from Betfred League 1 will be promoted. As has always been planned this season, the team finishing top of League 1 will be automatically promoted.

Teams 2 to 5 will then play semi-finals with the winners of the Promotional Final being promoted. The final place in the Betfred Championship for 2019 will be decided by a Play-off Final between the team that finishes bottom of the Championship Shield and the loser of the Promotional Final.

FWIW I think its a very fair system. Nobody is actually getting favoured.

If we win that we go up.

If we lose that we play the bottom placed championship team. The winner stays in or joins the championship.

Ah, thank you. It’s all so straightforward.

So indeed as an earlier poster said:

We have now have two chances to f**k it up.

(and I feel fine)

Two chances to mess it up? No way. After all this fuss we are going to lose the Semi final obviously.

What's the point of being the RFL's favourites then?

We still are, don't worry. Like all favourites, they are trying to pretend we are not by being horrible to us in public.

We all know they will ensure we go up somehow. :D

Just like we were definitely being saved from relegation last year :D imagine the meltdown now if we were in Swinton or Rochdales position

That's your mistake right there.

Even after all these years of pretending to be a journalist, Mick still hasn't learnt the art of keeping ones powder dry until there are actual facts to report.

It is surely obvious Nothus that the guy is merely Chalmers' voice piece. His master will have told him what to say. So Nothus consider that you shouldn't just blame the puppet. May be more apt to blame the puppeteer.

It's nothing to do with Chalmers. Mick has been putting his foot in it for years, long before AC was even involved with the Bulls

True, once a puppet, always a puppet. But this time it's different. He appears to be under the spell of the ultimate puppeteer. However, do you know who is pulling AC's strings ?
