From my seat I didn't see one.

You were at home/your club/the opera? 8)

There was just the one wandering about between the end of the stand and the Southbank. I normally feel under watch when taking a 'nip' from the flask on these cold days but felt quite uninhibited on Sunday....

Glad we're not playing Fev this week. However good to see up and coming players like Brad Singleton getting opportunities...

The systems a farce. An established SL player could player this week then not be seen for that team again all season. Get rid.

Can't imagine whoever Fev are playing this weekend being too pleased about it.
I don't get why they don't put some rules in to say that dual reg players either need to be below a certain age, or below a certain number of first team appearances. Once they go over the limit, they can be sent out on dual reg.
This can't be what they had in mind when they introduced this system.

Or set a minimum number of games that they can be sent for. It's not fair on the existing players to never know from one week to the next who might be parachuted in from the superdoopaleague club.

There is also the point that these players probably turn up in the lower leagues with a great big target on their back...

It's funny, because I can remember when Bradford fans were kicking off about the fact that Adrian Purtell couldn't play for Dewsbury on Dual Reg because that would ease him back in after his long lay off due to the heart attack. How things come around depending on the situation.

The system has been a farce since day one but it's here to stay until a proper reserves system comes back. Saints seem to use it largely the correct way with their fringe young players being the ones that play, and do regularly unless needed.

Well at least they are young up and coming players not established players in their mid 20s who couldn't get a game like Leeds.
