Mumtaz food is ok if expensive. My problem is the way the waiters seem to throw the food onto your table with a scowl. I know I've got short hair but I hardly look your atypical BNP member.

The 2 in contension at the moment are Akbar's on Leeds road in the hope theres room in the upstairs section where theres more room. Or theres Anam's (i think thats what its called) which is just further down from Mumtaz but before Ambala.

I don't know. You looked very BNP member-ish when I saw you wandering around at the opening of the Atrium yesterday

Was he beating up students again?

No, it's at Bradford Uni. It's a sort of curved glass type thing that's been added on to the main building on campus and yesterday was its official opening

It's a lean-to.

Albeit a £5m leaky one.

And I wore my best 50p Oxfam tie.

Consider yourselves lucky then.

Must say I've eaten in there 2-3 times and have had numerous take aways before and after the beard/pubes incident and never had a problem with the food or after effects.

That said we tend to get our takeaways from the formica tabled Eurasia in Keighley.

For posh nosh I think Mumtaz is good. The waiters are a bit surly and the decor and displays a bit OTT but the food, whilst not as good as it used to be, is still pretty decent IMO.

I'd avoid Akbars on Leeds Road like the plague. Been three times. First time was a work doo on a Friday night and it was heaving with pissed up whiteys (some even cracking bottles of Champagne); second time me and our lass went but it was very full of pissed up whitey again so we didn't stay; third time was with our lass on a weekday evening - no piss heads but thought the food was expensive and only 'ok'.

Had a Billy no Mates curry in Omars on Friday before the Leeds vs Wests U-18s game. Superb as ever.
