Good away win. Followed it on Flashscore whilst listening to Radio Cumbria. Have since been for a lie down after an emotionally draining second 40 at Barrow. Who have you got at the weekend? :thumb:

Well if that’s true then it means Lilley was told to run the show before? Daft considering you sign a half from SL. Let Lilley run it suits him better.

Sounds like the defence was good and that’s what I’m most impressed at. Defence today would have seen us pick up 4 more points against Barrow and Fax.

Apparently Kibula and Millar are getting lots of praise. Anyone go to the game and tell us how they faired?

I think Widnes are in an even worse state than we are. 1 win in their last 10 I think it is?
I wonder if Dunning might end up getting the rest of the season after all.

All Dunning can do is keep getting wins and improving the way we play and fitness. If he does that maybe he's the man for the job?

Depends who has applied.

Sounded like a good win for the Bulls. Glad to see that we managed to keep them to only one score. Widnes away has always been a tricky fixture and its good to see us take the 2 points and also score some points. As some others have already posted, Widnes seem to be in a worse place than us. Dunning appears to have given the players a bit of autonomy to go out and play which is a fresher approach to the old school tactics we employed under JK. If we can carry on playing well and picking up wins then I don't see a problem with Dunning taking us to the end of the season and then appointing a new coach for 2023.

It would be interesting to see what the players think to keeping Dunning on for the rest of the year?

I made a last minute decision to go to the game and I’m really glad I did as it was a great performance. Defence was solid and our completion rate was almost perfect. Attacking flair thrown in to the second half and yes a great team performance.

Plus we did it after losing Antony England to a calf injury early on.

I had to buy a ticket on the door and I think widnes’ set up is worse than ours. I think a fair few widnes fans will have missed kick off while queuing to buy a ticket from two old dears (lovely as they were) at a fold out table and one card reader between them.

We seem to be building something which might see us end the season a bit brighter. A real shame we’ve got Fev on a Monday night next. I just hope we keep it respectable.

Ha good spot! Maybe too many bank holiday beers. Naturally I meant Brad England.

Hopefully one day the rest of us will be as perfect as you my friend ;)
