Big effort on the recruitment front by Fev and Leigh, both showing laudable ambition. Halifax have done well too, but I think it will ultimately be between Fev and Leigh.
Once their squads are assembled it’s down to the coaches to manage their respective campaigns.
McDermott is a bit of an oddball but is a proven winner who can handle big reputations and egos.
Lam comes across as a really nice guy but looked out of his depth at Wigan. He will have learnt from that experience though.
Should be an exciting season.
