Worryingly JK has had no reassurances from Chalmers since the RFL statement. We all know how this ends don't we.
Looks like Sunday will likely be my last live RL game which hurts to say but I've had my full. Had some fantastic memories as well, met my wife and created a family together. But probably now time to find something else to fill my time. Sunday will be an emotional one, just hope the missus waters hold til then to be there!
I'm not quite so pessimistic as you as to how things are (I'll wait for Chalmers to return and, just maybe, explain what the hell is going on) but I can say definitely that unless the Chalmers version of Bfd rugby 2020 continues I won't be supporting any other and I'll be on my way down the (metaphorical) road. If AC were to sell the current club, lock, stock and barrel as a going concern then I'll continue, but any administrations, winding ups etc and I'm out of here. you don't even get life in purgatory for murder.

Well I’m trying not to be pessimistic but when you have people like JK saying he’s heard nothing from management then for me it sets alarm bells ringing. Very clearly, all is not well up at Odsal. Perhaps Chalmers has covered the losses until now but is reaching a point where he can no longer do that, then fair play to him for taking the drastic action.
But I just feel the staff deserve better than being left in the dark for a week after that RFL statement, especially after recent history of the club.

You're correct, it is the recent history which is making the problem infinitely more unbearable. Once bitten twice shy - how many times have we been bitten in the last few years?

I was thinking about how to raise some mega money to buy the club and stick fingers up at the RFL, Council etc. I know where there is a repository for gold bullion. I am looking for a locksmith, several people with vans with extra-reinforced suspension, and a fence who could cash in a few billions-worth of gold bars no questions asked. Someone who knows how to operate those dangly wire harness things would be a bonus. Oh and has anyone got any torches. Head torches would look more professional. Who's with me? I think you need to wear a black outfit.

This bullion isn't in the back of a bus hanging over a cliff is it? Hasn't anybody heard from a Nigerian prince with a legacy he can't get out of the country?

This Nigerian prince is my fall-back.
I think I've got him under my thumb now, I've conned him into upping the money to 2 billion dollars, which he's going to release as soon as he gets my £5K. Who'd have thunk it, ME, an internet scammer!!

You could call your new club, the Bradford Bullions.
