It’ll be a repeat of our last cup tie when we played in the mud in front of a tiny crowd. This time I fancy us to win narrowly. Hopefully the weather will be better. I’d urge Chalmers to think creatively when marketing this game or we’ll be lucky to get 1000.

As much as you understand Leeds not wanting their players cup tied, you also have to wonder why they bother this year. They're going to be nowhere near the final with their recent form, and even if they were, the chance of bang average players like Ashton Golding & Luke Briscoe turning out at Wembley are fairly bloody low.

Well, yes depending on injuries but I'd guess that clubs do this as a matter of course rather than thinking too much in the event. Hopefully they've totally forgotten Jordan Lilley is still here/on their books...

I don't think there is any indication the way the cup is drawn is going to change - it is moving earlier in the year, but all indications the bottom four in SL 2019 will enter the same point in the cup in 2020.

Unfortunately, the incompetents never had a clue and still don't, what to do with it. So now it is reduced to one man and his dog crowds, and the RFL pitifully demanding some clubs pay a huge bond in case they reach the final, a more abject surrender of responsibility it would be hard to imagine. Soon it will be gone from its main attraction to fans, Wembley, and then it will be consigned to the dustbin of history.

Unfortunately you are bang on. Shame on those in charge who have allowed this.
