I fear we're heading for a season like yours last year but without the cup run

WILL be a long day at the office. What Bradford will end up doing is moving players to play out of position when what they really need to do is either blood new youngsters or work at what you have playing in there right positions (Injuries Permitting obviously)

Bradford looked resigned to defeat pretty early on at Wigan and they need to not do that come Sunday. One thing I also noticed with Bradford is the amount of tacklers they we're putting into tackles. On many occasions it was 4. At one point it was Menzies, Morrison, Scruton and Newton all in a a tackle againt Thomas Leuleui. Thats 4 forwards against an half back. Its no wonder your team look tired doing this. Its therefore also no wonder you had boys like Paleisina(Spelling probably Wrong) and Hock going through gaps left because players were returning from past tackles. Bradfords defence had been ok up until Sat and your offensive and finishing had been the problem. It seemed on Sat it was a whole package problem....It'll be interesting to see where you will get a win because Hull, Catalans and Leeds are coming up soon and I doubt you'll beat them

Macca was asked at the fans forum about players underperforming or injured. He stated that this year he would only play the form players and only when fit. If that's what he's been doing then god help us.

add to above nero and semi both playing on with knocks against wigan. :(

then it makes sense to recall Halley and put him and Crookes into the team against hull as no doubt semi and nero will still be carrying their knocks

but i expect to see no change to the selection or the tactics

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

Think Halley picked up a knock yesterday.

One change I'd seriously consider would be to give Crookes a chance. Sykes hasn't set the world on fire so far, and if Tadulala was to be injured Sykes might play on the wing.

I'm sure McNamara said that if players weren't playing well others would come in, lets see it.

What about giving Sykes a shot at playing in the halves? He did it a couple of times at Quins and it can't get any worse for you than it already is.????

I remember commenting on that throughout the game. There's no wonder the defence got tired and Wigan could break the line at will. Presumably they were trying to be tough and hit hard in defence?

TBH Hudders managed to do that to us and they didn't get tired. They slowed us down sufficiently to negate anything we had in attack. Most teams get at least 2 into the tackle to do this, sometimes three.

It stands to reason if we slow down the oppositions ptb we get more time in defence so conserve more energy.
