Only to someone who either doesn't read them, or else belongs to the NT and wants to pick fault for no reason.
In fact, the Morrison interview presently under discussion did deal with several matters specific to a particular game, and I found it reasonably interesting. But as for anodyne remarks about how the players know they must improve etc., it seems barkingly mad to me for anyone to even raise this as an issue with Bulls interviews in particular, when surely every reader of every sports page in every publication/media outlet in every country around the world is familiar with, and surely expects, the natural optimism and resolve to do better, which is the stock-in-trade of comments of players and managers the entire world over?
If anyone is unhappy with this, fair enough - don't bother ever reading sports interviews!! But what is annoying is for the NT to raise this as a Bulls-specific issue, when in fact there is nothing, absolutely
nothing remarkable or surprising about it.
In fact, beyond normal. What other sentiments could any sportsman ever express? Who on earth could have a reasonable expectation that they would express any other hope/intention?
No, this is just another example of the NT picking up a completely unreasonable stick to beat the Bulls about the head with.
