Brian Mac taking on Leeds at The McAlpine in CC cup semi
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
Paul Deacon's last minute penalty to beat Wigan at Valley parade in May 2002 when we'd been losing something like 20-6 late on in the first half. Came from a controversial crossing penalty, Nobby was calling for the kick to touch and the drop but Deacs lined it up from just inside the Wigan half and nearly on the touchline. I was sat behind the goal and it came towards me and through the posts in slow motion. That always sticks in my mind.
I actually still think I have that match on video somewhere.

The game at Thrum Hall as mentioned before is one that sticks in my mind. I can just see that image of elliot on the sidelines telling everone to calm down. Fantastic

The 2001 Grand final for me all the build up to the game was how the much bigger Old Trafford pitch would suit Wigan more than us. So to be sat their at half time looking at the score board and it reading 26 - 0 to us brilliant.
I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.
Another game that sticks in my head is the win at Headingley the week before the Challenge Cup final in 2005. But that could be because of the fans behind me that said Keith Senior's career was over after Big Joe's tackle did his ankle in. In their words "He's well into his 30's now - there's no way he'll be back from that." He's only just turned 30 this year so was 28 at the time, me, my mate and the Rhinos fans that were stood in front of us just gave them that look.

#~It could be argued that they were right Senior has never hit the same heights since.
