Real tough game this off the back of the Wakefield match. Sheffield are always dead awkward opponents. Is Scurr likely to figure? We missed his go forward last weekend.

He's played some reserves. Wonder if he'll get a few games on loan in L1 before he comes back fully.
The loans thing is frustrating. We don't seem to have any continuity on the wing. The Aussie we've got from Hull just seems to be them "cleaning the stables" as he's certainly not up to SL level. Not sure what we're set to gain by taking someone who'll be off home as soon as he gets the chance. On the other hand Tindall coming in is a good move and I'd love us to make that a permanent signing.
One thing that has frustrated me this season is our kicking game. Other than the kicks we put in for Gill to chase we don't build any pressure at all. Not sure what we can do to fix this other than hope that Gaskell comes back early but longer term it's an issue that needs sorting.

Sheffield have been far more consistent and strung together some decent form during the opening stages of the season. Their only losses have come against Wakefield (36-10) and Wigan in the Cup. After Wakefield, I see the Eagles as one of the top 2 sides in the division.
They've been going very well and it will take a well drilled Bulls outfit to try and stop the Eagles momentum. As others have said, game management will be key during Sunday's game. Mark Aston will have them up for this one after the late heartbreak they suffered in the final game of the season last year.
Despite all the injuries and still only been able to name 19 players (two of which I doubt will play as they player for the reserves on Thursday and haven't made their debut yet) we should still be able to name a strong 17.
What a win! We made the Eagles look very average with our patched up team.
Massive stints from Doro, Lawrence, Fulton, Lilley and Souter. I also felt Okunbar went very well. I hope we can keep hold of him for the a few more games.
Always good to get one over Aston and that whinging bugger Thackery.
