The other problem is that we are seemingly being quite candid in saying that players are being sold, which must push down the price.

You are of course quite right when you say that it's either administration or sell the players. The £150,000 the club will receive for the three departing players (not Joe and Elliot) will ensure the club can meet it's October and November payroll and new pension commitments.
