Bulls 48- huddersfield 22
Very good showing from the backs, bags of pace and enthusiasm, straugheir, hyde and crookes in particular.
Crossley got very little game time tho, addy impressed as did johnny horton.
If only we`d try straugheir/crookes/hyde what have we got to lose?

Do we have a decent pair of creative halfbacks with pace?

Joe wardle and liam kay, wardle didnt play tho and kay started on bench.
Think only worrying bit was hyde went off injured, did a 80 m run down sideline and didnt seem to be his flying self and was caught, pulled up and went off, hopefully its just a twinge with it being first match.

I thought the kids played well yesterday. Tackled well and past the ball about nicely.
Very refreshing to watch a Bradford team do that!
Kieron Hyde had a cracking game and Thomas Olbison scored a great try in the first half.

He bent over and was holding that area, thought he`d just lost his breath with it being first match, thanks rv.
Hopefully he will be our next fb, already a mass improvement on platt and if continues will be in the webb mould.
Hoping our first team squad in 3 yrs will be:
hyde
finnigan
straugheir
crookes
halley
donaldson
kay
burgess
horton
kopczak
olbison
cook
whitehead
obrien
hawthorne
tate
ryle
I think that teams speed and handling would win more than it lost unlike now.
