Sunday's game against Newcastle has been cancelled. Parts of the pitch are still covered in snow and ice and with the temperature dipping below freezing the game is off.

Decent game today at Huddersfield. Expected it to be a typical friendly with errors, penalties and stop start nature. But it was actually a pretty good quality game to watch from both sides even with the big squads.

Keyes looked in control and Lilley came on off the bench and really put himself about. Blake put in a high quality performance and has some genuine pace. Alongside several others - the backline in the 1st half was too strong for the Giants.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. I thought we looked solid. The energy levels dipped a little at times in the second half (To be expected at this point in preparations) but comparing our players to a fulltime outfit i thought the team did themselves proud.
