Just what we need. A strong, determined forward, who will make the hard yardage and also put in a good defensive stint, His contribution to the clubs he's represented is well known, even though he doesn't always get the plaudits he deserves. His time with us on loan was a revelation to our forward pack, Well pleased with this signing. Good luck James

Did you get your mate to offer him a full-time job so he would go back to the Bulls?

Hopefully he still has a bit left in the tank, but working full time and training/playing rugby league is no easy task. We are always going to be in a position where we are looking for players who are above average for the Championship but not quiet Superleague level. That means either signing younger prospects or older, "Superleague" players near the end if their careers. As a consequence we have signed/are signing some, "older end" players who have/ can do well for us, but frustratingly spend a good bit of time sidelined with injuries. As for the prospects, if they're good enough they get poached quickly enough. Until we return to the promised land of Superleague I'm not sure if there is a different approach to player recruitment?
