Toulouse away in June in very hot weather is a different kettle of fish to Toulouse in September/October. Pressure of a playoff game they are expected to win. Anything can happen in a one of game. Like others have said, injuries play apart as well.

If you look at Toulouse's home results so far this season (v Newcastle 58-0; v York 36-0; v Whitehaven 72-10; v London 52-0; v Halifax 28-22; v Sheffield 48-10; v Bradford 52-14) then you could argue that only Halifax have scored more points and came closer to beating them than we did.

Makes these next 4 games even more crucial for me. Wrap up top 6 in the next 4 games. Then make a real charge in the games against Sheff, York, Batley.

Just watched the highlights. And tbh I’m annoyed at the way we concede the first 26 points. All poor efforts in D or really bad reads. Toulouse probably only earned the first try through good ball movement.
Walker and DFJ not getting under the ball is either bad communication or the sun.
Rest are breaking through two man tackles or Blackmore/Arundel making a bad eead on the play.
I don’t mind letting this one slide as it was a result I had down as a loss. But standards need to be better than that.
