They play Dewsbury in the UK on the 13th so will have to fly back in to France after the game and then spend 7 days in Isolation except for training. Which would be until Sunday the 20th. Not possible for them to stay in UK at the moment.

Good old RFL. Only they could come up with a ruling that says you have to complete 70% of your games unless you don't.

The 70% of games bit is to qualify for the playoff series isnt it? So toulouse don't get automatic promotion by coming top of the table, they still have to beat someone in a one off game (unless RFL change goalposts again to get outcome they want).

Until covid restrictions are relaxed games in Toulouse against part time clubs that are cancelled don’t count towards both clubs’ total games. So it doesn’t affect them or us in that respect.

Provided that’s the only game called off we’ll end the season on 100% of games completed. It just makes every other game slightly more influential on our win percentage but not significantly.

It will for Toulouse though if they lose a lot more games.

probably guarantees them 1st place at end of regular season and easiest draw at start of playoffs. Plus the less games they have to play the less chance their is of them picking up injuries so stronger squad available for playoff games.

its a game which would probably have seen our win percentage drop so slight benefit to us not playing it I guess.

its a bit of one and half of the other ... toulouse though, this season, look unstoppable.

I was referring to Toulouse. They are full time and qualify as elite sports. As do the London Broncos, which is why they were penalised for not playing their away fixture.
