Chris Hankinson is 25. Although he's hardly established yet, so it's not as big a urine take as some other clubs.

I don't get why they don't put some rules in to say that dual reg players either need to be below a certain age, or below a certain number of first team appearances. Once they go over the limit, they can be sent out on dual reg.
This can't be what they had in mind when they introduced this system.

It's worth pointing out that when the current DR rules were brought in in 2013, Featherstone were one of four Championship clubs who were generally opposed to DR but also said that if it had to be introduced, exactly this stipulation should be implemented ie that it should only be fringe SL players who should be eligible and not seasoned SL players. The four were outvoted by the other Championship clubs.

It's now ironic that fans of some of the clubs who opposed this proposal (I don't mean Bradford as the Bulls were in SL at the time) are now sulking about DR players Fev are using.

Well, yes, but I'd guess you'd get the same 'one-eyed' reaction from most fans of all clubs - depending on how it affected them on a particular occasion.

I think that's exactly what it is. The majority of clubs' fans (and indeed chairmen) will always form an opinion of DR based on how it helps/hinders their own side. It'll only be a minority that take a bigger picture view.
