i couldnt stand potter but this clown makes potter look like wayne bennet... this is the worse saints team for a number of years...(now lying 8th position) the chairman should call columbo simmons in on monday and give him his plane ticket back to australia....theres no moves whatsoever in this team...if saints were winning we'd all be praising simmons..alas it's the opposite wer'e losing. all the hype about the up and coming youngsters wev'e so called got. what are they doing?... NOWT...its alright saying we miss roby etc....so what should we do cancell all games till roby is fit?.. you may as well find the nearest grid and throw £20 down it than watch the poor efforts from this team... i dont think mcmanus will put up with this garbage for long...all the money thats been spent on the stadium for a team with no effort..(and a coach who is clueless)...i really hope things can be turned round and that i'm made to eat my words. but something tells me theres going to be a bit more damage to our great club as long as simmons is in charge. |

Couldn't agree more with your comments about us having a clown in charge. I said it last year and got bagged for it big time. McManus will not sack the idiot, he likes him as a person to much and no way will saints pay him up, not a chance! The words of Macmanus "we will have a team to grace the new stadium" We used to be a good team with a crap stadium and now we are a crap team with a great stadium but I know which I prefer. We've now lost more at home than we have won at our new stadium. |

Lordy me, saddeneditis is rife throughout you gloomy sods. Things aren't ideal, our kids are low on confidence and making poor decisions that are costing us games. It was always going to happen, we have a lot of young kids playing in key positions, but we have narrowly lost three games, and last night was a narrow defeat despite the final result. We could have won all four of these games, including the draw, instead we haven't, and the knee jerking doom and gloomers are having a field day. Get a grip and get behind the team and the coach. Simmons has a hard enough job to do without the speccies crucifying him. |

He doesn't have a hard job, he's got one of the best jobs in super league with what's deemed as one of the best squads in super league. It's only hard because he's making it harder than it should be. |

Why is it always the kids who get mentioned when the team is losing ? Everyone should be more worried about the more senior players form or lack of it. |

The only thing I find crazy is fans make season long judgement calls based on a few games. We lost as many games from the opening 6. In 2007, it did not stop us having a good year. Last year we finished 3rd and got to a semi and a final. If the chairman was this flimsy in the wind with his judgements we would head the way of Wigan for sure changing coaches and halfback pairings every year, till finally ending up skating the relegation zone, (and I'm talking about over the course of a season not a few games). Get a grip people. Sure vent spleens and be critical, but asking for changes after every lost would make for poor result season long. We are low on confidence and leadership. But we are not a bad team and we will make top 4. |
