I'd like to see us line up against Hull FC with the following:

FB: Wellens
RW: Gardner
RC: Shenton
LC: Wheeler
LW: Foster
SO: Gaskell
SH: Lomax
PF: McCarthy-Scarsbrook
HK: Hohaia
PF: Laffranchi
SR: Dixon
SR: Wilkin
LF: Flanagan

INT: Perry
INT: Puletua
INT: Soliola
INT: Clough

Flannery and Meli to miss out for me

No sentiment for a back on the bench anymore, especially when they get limited time or no time at all. This way the likes of Soliola, Puletua and possibly Perry can give us some impact when Hull have tiring players in key positions.

I thought Flanaghan will be missing too?

Perry needs to take this chance to pull his bloody finger out.

I thought he was our best player against Widnes, but his impact (and corresponding stats) were woeful once the league started and I can only assume by the fact that he was "rotated" out of the squad for 2 consecutive weeks that he's not showing it on the training paddock either.

Hope Perry can get a good run of games going!

If any of you are interested, the Hull FC squad is:

Aspinwall, Bowden, Briscoe, Ellis, Horne, Houghton, Lynch, Manu, Martin, McKinnon, Moa, O’Carroll, O’Meley, Seymour, Sharp, Tickle, Turner, Whiting, Yeaman

Line-up likely to be

McKinnon
Sharp
Martin
Yeaman
Briscoe
Horne
Seymour
Lynch
Houghton
O'Meley
Manu
Tickle
Aspinwall

Ellis
Moa
O'Carroll
Whiting

Although there are rumours that Yeaman has a foot injury and is facing surgery sometime soon.

Looking forwards to a good game :)

1. Paul Wellens,
2. Ade Gardner,
3. Michael Shenton,
5. Francis Meli, ( I would not play him, but can't see Royce picking him as the back on the bench)
22. Jamie Foster
7. Jonny Lomax,
20. Lee Gaskell,
8. Josh Perry,
6. Lance Hohaia,
10. Louie McCarthy Scarsbrook,
4. Sia Soliola,
12. Jon Wilkin,
11. Tony Puletua,

13. Chris Flannery,
14. Anthony Laffranchi,
16. Paul Clough,
17. Gary Wheeler,

Flanaghan to miss out due to injury
Dixon to miss out as did not really impress last week and I think Royce favours Flannery even after his dodgy first couple of games, but does seam to have settled down somewhat.

It is really strange not to see James Roby in our 19!
