We struggled to break down what was an excellent defence without a true organiser.

The last tackle plays lacked the nouse of Long or the flair of Arnold. That is where we fell down (and Wello's inability to kick a goal, again, Long and Arnold missing).

Beans on the chill, it'll be ok.

Forget the goalkicking. The rest concerns me. We are a million miles away from consistent form and it's coming to the business end of the season.

We haven't put together a run of strong performances all season and we've largely been terrible at home. There is a lot for the other sides to be hopeful for, there are plenty of chinks in the armour at the moment.

3 home defeats all by 4 points or less. Are we struggling to come up with the last minute plays we have been famous for over the years?

We weren't saying that in 2006 when the same thing happened.

Tonight goal kicking has cost us, we outscored them tries wise. Missing 6 kicks will always cost a team.

Do you Potter-ites agree that we are a step weaker than last season?

Yet, we're joint top of the table. In the big games we've generally turned up this season so I'm not overly worried about us yet.

Our form against some of the 'smaller' teams is concerning though. We were really poor tonight and it backs up from games against Salford and Celtic where we were terrible aswell. We need to string some performances together and stop throwing the ball about in our own half. Our best set of six tonight was in the 2nd half with 10 to go when we made 4 consecutive dummy half runs. More basic rugby will see of the teams lower down the table.

You're glad about what? That we don't have the knack of sneaking close games anymore at the death?

Its just a bad day at the office with a disjointed depleted squad, think we should get over it and move on to the next game.

What worries me most is that these young promising players are picking up so many injuries.

I agree that the main attribute that failed us tonight was goalkicking but we seemed to panic and have no real idea in that last 5 mintues. Saying that we didn't look fantastic for the full 80 and I'm sure alot of that can be put down to being forced to play with a disjointed attack through injuries.
