[quote='Fishsta"']I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.

Another classic:
[quote='Fishsta']You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

I wouldn't say that. The main difference between our current side and the all conquering side of 2006 is that we no longer have Paul Anderson. Nobody could handle our front row that year and our backs thrived off it. If you stuck Willie Mason in our current pack we'd take a hell of a lot of stopping, but the problem is he seems to be the kind of person who stirs up trouble.

I agree that we have missed Baloo, especially when the going gets tough. The answer is not someone who would happily walk out on his club to persue other interests (one off boxing match i recall) that could leave him unavailiable for months
The guy would demand too much money. If were going to spend big I'd rather It be spent on a fast outside back.
Besides as others have said he aint the force he once was.
