Hopefully the 34 players can put on a fitting tribute. This is one game that I would not complain about losing in.

MANCHESTER CITY - PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2011-12
BORUSSIA DORTMUND - BUNDESLIGA CHAMPIONS 2011-12
CELTIC - SPL CHAMPIONS 2011-12
ALEMANNIA AACHEN - HOPELESS 2011-12
ST. HELENS RLFC - ER.. 3 OUT OF 5 AIN'T BAD!

Agreed.

And I hope fans of both clubs turn out in numbers to pay respect to him.

Through gritted teeth, I agree.

I just hope the little scrotes who couldn't stay quiet at KR this season do not attend.

Hopefully it will be a fitting tribute and all the players and fans will do Rugby League proud.

Re Gateaux post.

TBH I wasn't going to this game as I was finishing work at half five, then get home shower cahnge and out made it a pretty tight. But under the circumstances I feel I should make some changes to my diary and go.

Given the undoutbedly somber, probably surreal atmosphere there will be I don't know how it will go. Will it affect them, spur them to win in his memory? Obviously that then puts us in a difficult position, it's hard to even imagine anyone getting 'up' for beating an opposition that has suffered the loss they have so soon after it happened.

I think the best approach might be to rest the King, Roby and Jammer to save them for the Cup game. We still field a strong squad and lose.

Roby was carrying an injury so I'd imagine Potter will give him a week off.

We should pay respects in the correct manner with all respect due. But I still hope we play to win.

Despite the tragedy, we'll still be going there to come away with the 2 points.
