From the bbc website about Manly "Full-back Brett Stewart, the two-try hero of their 28-20 win over Leeds, has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault. Second row Anthony Watmough, who was man of the match, is alleged to have punched a sponsor at the club's season launch" It seems a lot of young stars are getting arrested down there not for petty stuff either, I know we have a few, but nowhere near as many as the NRL. Would any superleague club be brave enough to sign them if they are released? I hope not and I doubt they would get clearence for anyone other than Catalans anyway. |

Brett Stewart has now been charged with sexual assault on a 17 year old girl. If he is guilty, bang goes his Super League pension top up in 5 years. |

well I'd be dubious about this one tbh at least until the full details come out. Aussie Rugby players have alot higher profile than ours , a bit like our Football players and I think they do suffer from people looking to make cheap headlines and some easy cash from compo |
