Im at work bored just thinkin saints are the only team in super league with out a silly nickname.
Lets think of a good one they can use

I was assuming he meant like Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos.

we are the saints for obvious reasons, but i never understood how Northampton got the nickname, any ideas?

They were originally Northampton St James after their founder was curate of the St James Parish Church.
Interestingly, while on Union, Leicester Tigers got their name from a new article saying "the Tiger stripes were keeping well together"
