Got something through the post yesterday

Kids season ticket holders can get one mate in for £1 for the Leeds game.

Good/bad idea?

I wouldn't have thought that Saints would need to make such an offer for a game as big as Leeds?

It is a bit odd that they seem to be applying the biggerdiscounts to the bigger games . Warrington and Leeds so far.

Salford game will need some promoting !! usual borefest expected with 20 travelling fans.

For what? Getting your £1 ticket? If that is what the offer states.

I though the same, its the games that should sell themselves which are promoting themselves.

But at least the promotions are there, and I guess (what should be) a tight game v leeds will be more appealing to get people back

I reckon thats the thinking behind it. Even die hard fans cant get enthusiastic about a visit from Salford subsequently the atmosphere will be pretty p1ss poor.
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.

Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.

Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666

0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

Therefore ZERO.
Give the girl her dummy back.

....and with Leeds and Wigan on the box a good many of those who pick and choose will no doubt plump for the feet up in front of the box option.
