It has been reported in todays League Express Stevo's column that Karl Kirkpatrick is to return to ref in SL as of next month. Hope this is true as we are a bit short on the reffing front. |

He is living proof that Ref's can improve. Can you all remember how BAD he was at first - and by the end he was the best in the League. |

i thought he left because he would only be able to go full time for one season (last season) before having to retire when he reached an age where the RFL wouldnt let him referee any longer |

I hope does return. He was the best ref in SL, admittidly out of a bad bunch but he was good. |

In todays League Express he has accepted the post of Coach and Development Officer with the RFL. It states he doesn't get on with Cummings or Brown and he met Smith to discuss the position. |
