IMO we need to start giving Fas more game time. He just isn't creting the impact that he was a couple of seasons ago and I think he will do better if we keep him on the pitch for longer periods, maybe just rotate him like the other props. It seems to me that by the time he is getting going he is being taken off again.

I always thought that DA didn't give him enough game time but Potter seems to be using him even less.

He's recovering from injury.........showed some good touches last night....It was the likes of Jammer who kept dropping the ball and giving away penalties that was the problemo....IMO

I agree totally, but the point Im trying to make is that as soon as he showed a good touch he was whisked olff again instead of being allowed to wear the opposition down with his runs.

Thought he did alright last night, went in hard and was difficult to put down. He did a few good offloads as well.
I agree he didn't get enough game time, maybe when we get the harder faster pitches he will be more dominant.

He played ok yesterday
Needs to pick up his game more though, cut out the penalties or he could be off at the end of the season with rumours of Poore being watched by Saints people.

He looked better yesterday, more like he was in the Widnes friendly when I thought he may be returning to form after his somewhat miserable back end to last season. I hope he just keeps on getting better so that we can have the best go forward possible for this season.

He was better, but he has a long way to go, to get back to his best.

No disrespect to Widnes, but not exactly a difficult game to impress in.

I thought he did OK yesterday to be honest. Hopefully when JC and Graham are fully fit and can play long minutes, Maurie will play as an impact prop, a role he's more suited to.
